Consumer Portfolio Services, Inc. (the “Company”) and its employee benefit plan the Consumer Portfolio Services, Inc. 401(k) Plan (the “Plan”) were unable to file a Form 11-K for the year ended December 31, 2022 in a timely manner without unreasonable effort or expense due to delays in obtaining certain follow-up information regarding Plan assets from the Plan’s administrator. The Company expects to file the Form 11-K within the extension period provided by Rule 12b-25.
